We Are Excited to Introduce the George Brazil Airship to Arizona
Since September of 2011, the George Brazil Airship has graced Arizona residents with its presence and taken flight all over the Valley. As it is currently the only airship taking flight in the United States, the owner, George Brazil himself, is proudly using this opportunity to give back to the community by offering rides to disadvantaged and disabled children. We highly encourage you to look over the pages of this site to learn more about the George Brazil Airship and discover how you can get involved.

FAQs
How many people can go up in the airship at once?
The airship is a four-seater craft, including the pilot's seat. Therefore, it has enough room for the pilot and three others.
How frequently does the airship fly?
The airship flies anywhere between six and ten times a week, dependent on weather conditions. Because the airship is sensitive to hot climates, it remains grounded during the hot summer months from late May to October.
How high does the airship fly?
The airship typically hovers at about 1000 feet above ground.
Where does the airship take off from?
The airship takes off from five different points throughout the valley. However, it can take off from any field or air strip.
How can I get involved?
The George Brazil Team is actively accepting nominations to give free rides once a month to disabled or disadvantaged children. If you know of a child in need, who is over the age of 12, and would like to go up in the airship, send us their story using the form to the left.
